The paintings everyone knows hang in museums in Amsterdam, Vienna, Paris and New York. You cannot buy them. What you can have is a good print of them on your own wall — and from today you can order it from us.
Who you can choose from
Vincent van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, Claude Monet, Katsushika Hokusai, Edvard Munch and Caspar David Friedrich. Their works are in the public domain — nobody owns the rights to them any more, which is why we may print them and why you may hang them.
The originals stay in their museums. What you get is a print, and we say so plainly.
What it costs
Unframed: A3 for 17 €, A2 for 19 €, A1 for 22 €. In a real wooden frame — black or light oak: 42 €, 59 €, 87 €. Delivery in Romania is 5 € unframed and 12 € framed, because a frame travels in a box and not in a tube.
We print to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for you.
And the part nobody else sells
Under the image sits a QR code. Scan it, and your phone plays music and tells you the story of that painting: who made it, when, and what was going on around it. Like the little sign next to a work in a museum, only on your own wall.
That is why we call it a Living Poster.
How to order
Open the Living Poster section on lakatosbandi.com, pick a work, choose the size and the frame, and pay by card. That is all.
The original hangs in Amsterdam. The story can hang in your hallway.
