Respect the Artist
AI theft cannot be stopped. Temu prints your painting on a T-shirt, and Meta trains its AI on what you post on Instagram — both are already happening, and the artist usually finds out from someone else's photos.
We cannot prevent that. What we can do is run a shop for people with a conscience. Here nothing is sold in someone's style unless that someone is named, linked and paid. Every piece says whose style it was made in and where to find them. Every order pays a licence to the artist.
Artist Fair: everything you buy here was paid to the person who created it.
The two of us
lakatosbandi.com is made by two people. Szidonia Bandi paints — figurative work, mostly from the Mediterranean, and her pieces are on this site like everyone else's. Geza Lakatos builds the software: the funnels, the agents, the print pipeline, this page.
We are not a gallery and not a marketplace with a hundred employees. When you write to us, one of us two answers.

The technology behind this site comes from VersusForge, our own software house. Everything here is built in-house and runs in production, not bought as a plugin: the artist agent that talks to buyers, the descriptions written by our marketing algorithm, the image analysis, the voice and video module, the print-file generator, the checkout and the shipping mails.
That is why we can promise the Artist Fair seal in the first place: the licence to the artist is not a policy on a page, it is a line of code in the same system that takes the payment.
