Creez picturi figurative. Mă inspir din zona mediteraneană și din călătoriile pe care le fac. Apa eternă care nu se mai termină — mările Mediteranei: valurile vin neîncetat, nu se termină niciodată. Apa mării oferă o siguranță, un spațiu de renaștere, purificare, regăsire, reîncărcare și revigorare; poate fi, deopotrivă, și cel mai mare dușman, dacă privim spre scrierile din Grecia antică și efectul pe care îl aveau asupra oamenilor când îl supărau pe Poseidon. Un alt element recurent în registrul meu pictural este cactusul, metaforă pentru om: există numeroase similitudini între cactus și om — elementul vegetal, asemenea omului, rezistă în vremuri grele, în secete fizice și afective, își conservează resursele în interior și se apără de pericole cu țepi vizibili și invizibili. Împletesc aceste două elemente în picturile mele; câteodată rezultă o simplă reprezentare a vieții cotidiene: un moment din dormitorul personal, o relaxare într-o grădină cu piscină, o baie rece în mare sau o privire pe fereastră către un peisaj mediteranean.
