Lakatos & Bandi Studio
LAKATOS & BANDI Studio creates portraits that sit between classical painting and contemporary provocation. We work with contrasts: sin and the sacred, forbidden and desire, tradition and the present. Religious imagery, classical portraiture and familiar symbols are reimagined with sensuality, irony and a deliberate edge. Our figures look as if they’ve stepped out of old paintings, yet they speak of today. The result is contemporary art that feels familiar, seductive and slightly unsettling at once. We produce images that sweeten sin, turn the forbidden into desire and elevate the sacred into contemporary art. Our works are available as art prints and posters for the wall. LAKATOS & BANDI STUDIO Old Masters. New Sins.
